Customer Journey

[Demonstrate consumer engagement using personalization on the homepage, Search and Navigation and best bets with search]

• • Explain the sections of the Default home page.  
    • Home page section includes Hero, products listing, default articles.
  • Do a search for "card"
    • Explain Search & Navigation -- "Related Query" ("Did You Mean") optimization
  • Click link for "Did you mean: credit card" to search for "credit card"
  • Explain search and describe Search & Navigation Best Bets displaying as the top result.  This will take you to the credit cards page.
  • Fill out Credit Card Form at the bottom of the page and make sure you select Excellent as Credit Rating.
  • Navigate back to the home page.

RESULT:

• • Explain the personalized content of hero along with login form.
  • Describe the new products being shown based on your form value "Excellent"
  • Show personalized articles tagged with 'Credit Card" at the bottom of the screen.
  • Show new form for progressive form.

Optional Customer Journey (Retirement)

[Same as above but we can show multiple personalizations on the home page.  Retirement and Credit Card interests]

• • Make sure you clear cookies.
  • Explain the sections of the Default home page
  • Click on retirement half way down the page in the green content area.
  • This will put you in the retirement visitor group (personalized)
  • Navigate back to home page

RESULT:

• • Explain homepage banner personalized for retirement
  • Articles at bottom are now showing based on retirement categories

Backend

CMS Intro
Create Standard Page under Viewpoints/Credit Cards, explain templates and purpose of templates

• • Edit newly created page.
    1. Create hero block and add image and text to top content area
    2. Set the "Display Option" to "Screen width"
    3. Add lorem text to box of page
    4. Add a credit card "Request Credit Card Container" block  located under "EPi Bank/Home" folder.
       1. Block is personalized to see if form has already been filled out, else it will show the more information form instead of step 1 form.
    5. Add "Credit Card Articles" block to the main content area located under "EPi Bank/Services/Credit Cards" folder.
       1. Articles taged with "Credit Card" will be displayed.
